SURFACE PARKING

🟦The blue zone "Zona azul" (in Barca – "área blava")

💶The blue zone is paid only at certain hours:

🔻Mon to Fri from 9:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00.

🔻On Saturday from 9:00 to 14:00.

The schedule may vary in different cities.

🆓Free of charge - at night and in the sun.

At the parking meter, you pay for the required amount of time, get a ticket and put it under the windshield in a prominent place.

If the paid time has expired, pay again and put the ticket.

Otherwise, there will be a fine, and the car can be evacuated to the impound lot.

ZONES FOR RESIDENTS ONLY

🟩Green stripes on the sidewalk. «Zona verde».

The orange zone is "Zona naranja".

A non–resident has the right to leave a car for an hour, less often two, only in the afternoon - from 8.00 to 20.00.

Only residents can use the zone at night.

💶Payment at parking meters.

UNLOADING AND LOADING AREAS

The zones are marked with diagonal yellow lines on the asphalt.

Parking is allowed only for unloading and loading

Max time is usually 30 minutes from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 20:00.

CITY UNDERGROUND PAID PARKING

The cost is different everywhere.

There are parking lots that are open 24 hours, others are already closed at 20:00.

❗️When you arrive at the parking lot, be sure to read the conditions of its operation.

⚠️Paid underground parking spaces are available for long-term rent.

Such places are marked with the words "plaza reservada" or simply "reservado".

Even if this place is free, you do not have the right to park there.

PARKING LOTS IN SHOPPING MALLS AND SHOPS

In the shopping center, where Parking is paid, when shopping on the Internet. the amount and presentation of the receipt – parking becomes 🆓.

When paying for groceries, you need to show a parking ticket at the checkout.

PARKING IS PROHIBITED

Usually, places where parking is prohibited are highlighted on the asphalt in yellow and with a crossed-out E or similar sign:

🔻Areas reserved for use by emergency services;

🔻Pedestrian areas closed to traffic
